Over the years, photography has been a tool, my visual journal so to speak, and something quite personal. Only recently have I begun to publicly share the past twenty years of those journal entries. In my travels I have experienced many places from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean to Southeast Asia and Europe, spending several winters living abroad. The photographic opportunities have been abundant and exciting to say the least. More recently, I have focused on the rustic beauty closer to home and am equally excited about my local “journaling”. Prior to my traveling life, I attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where my studies were focused in architecture and art history. I have lived in Taos since 1991 and currently am splitting my time between there and a little sail boat in the Florida Keys.
